Archana Karry

Archana Karry is a qualified Bharatanatyam Professional from the world renowned Institute ‘Kalakshetra’. She has more than 15 years of professional experience as a presenter, moderator and trainer. She has presented live performances for coveted sabhas in India & in the UK for over a decade. Being a Post Graduate in the Human resources (MBA), Archana applies ‘Think-out-of-the-Box’ concepts to bharatanatyam adhering to traditional theories and techniques while bringing this dance form to the fore.

Archana was part of a niche training recap program for the internationally recognized Satyam School of Leadership. She presented “leadership through Dance” for “Emerging and New Leaders" for 600+ leaders spread over 15 programs for 2 years. This role won her a FLCL (Full Life Cycle Leader) Award which was awarded the first time for an outsider from Satyam.

Archana’s key skills involve presenting Bharatanatyam as a household name in every stratum of community gained by initiating, designing and implementing progressive forward-thinking Bharatanatyam concepts juxtaposed with Management concepts.

Performances, Artistic Direction, Choreography, Teaching, Training, Presenting, Compeering, Creative / Concept Writing... Archana has done it all. She is also a linguist with a flair for languages. It is this rich and varied experience that has given her the ability to easily adapt to a diverse audience from any sector.

Being a mother herself Archana enjoys working with children and getting involved in programs that make a difference to the society. She has played a key role in this aspect of individual social responsibility and produced a magna opus dance theatre narrative “Ashoka” that defines ‘attitude determines altitude’. She also gives time to train children as future leaders through her dance classes “SPANDHAN” - that cater to the body, mind and soul.

Archana believes that Dance can work as a catalyst in developing peace, and balance in today’s chaotic and imbalanced environment as it is not just an art form, but an art with the ability to convey beyond words; it is an everyday’s experience of living - Living to the it…..with it!
